How Have You Lived Your Dash?

I just came by Adam Khoo's Blog. His latest post is on a powerful and meaningful song , ' Dash '. The ‘Dash’ was originally a poem written by Linda Ellis and it has been an inspiration to millions around the world, including myself. The song makes us realise that the day we complete our journey in life, two dates would be inscribed on our tombstone, the year of birth and the year of death. In the middle of both these dates, is a short dash '-'. It represent all that we have done during the time that we are alive. It makes us reflect how how we have lived our 'dash'. As you play the youtube video above, you may like to read the lyrics of the song below. " There was a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend.
He read the dates on her tombstone from the beginning…to the end. He noted first came the date of her birth and spoke the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash sta...

Your character is so much more important. Without a good character, your skills are just plain worthless. Skills will be just skills. You're disgusting. I'm sorry to say that, but seriously you are disgusting. This shouldn't be the way how a true sportsman play his game. You don't respect your opponent at all. " Listen, You may play the game well. Art Of Appreciation

Hello everybody, Now, You must be wondering why am i still back here after a post yeah? Well, Right now I'm am going to pour out some of the thoughts I've felt for the past few days. Over the pass few days, I've reflected over many families scenarios. It's really very sad to see how family break apart. I've even visited the HSA Hospice. A hospice is a type of hospital care center whom the patients there are all left with less than a year or so to live. I was told that some of them there, don't even know that they are terminally ill and only left with months to live. That is indeed very sad to hear of. You see, Life is such a strange thing. It is only until the last moment and period of our life then we will start to notice the importance of the people around. It is only then we start worrying about the things around us. It is only then, we will finally start to regret all the things we have been doing. Think about it. We seriously need to start appreciating ever...

I saw a book that was on NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) , it costs $ 49.90 . Of course, as a student, I wasn't able to afford it. I just browse it through. After reading it through and found somethings that sounded very interesting to me. I thought i should share it with you readers. The part I'm going to share today is a small part on Building Rapport. Building Rapport. If you want to create rapport with someone, you must create it from the point of respect and genuine need to understand them and always seek win-win outcomes. When you feel congruent with your outcomes , identity , values and beliefs , then your behavior will follow naturally . M atching & M irroring . Have you ever watched two people communicating deeply? If they are both fully engaged in the conversation, they will unconsciously copy each others body posture ...
